紐約洋基隊儘管日前菜鳥強打Greg Bird因傷整季報銷，新球季他們還有值得期待的新秀即將冒出頭，目前在洋基農場排名第一的重砲外野手Aaron Judge就已經準備妥當，期待2016年一舉登上大聯盟舞台。

「不論新球季從哪裡出發，只要球隊需要我，我都會做好萬全的準備。」但洋基在外野不但有固定班底Brett Gardner和Jacoby Ellsbury等人，今年還多了新同學Aaron Hicks，讓外界預測Judge大概會在明星賽後才會被叫上大聯盟。

Judge曾在2010年高中畢業之後就被奧克蘭運動家隊在第31輪挑中，不過他選擇到加州州立大學弗雷斯諾分校就讀，之後於2013年再次投入選秀，在首輪第32順位被洋基納入麾下，展開小聯盟生涯。

今年4月即將要滿24歲的Judge，擁有6呎7吋、275磅的出色體型，加上在首年在1A和高階1A就有17轟的火力輸出，讓人拿他和名人堂前輩Dave Winfield和邁阿密馬林魚隊Giancarlo Stanton做比較。而他在2015年也順著從2A升到3A，全年度繳出傲視洋基小聯盟的20轟，但打擊三圍0.255/0.330/0.448（打擊率/上壘率/長打率）卻不算突出。

「我在去年效力過兩支好球隊（洋基2A和3A）。」Judge說，「而且我們也有不少傢伙獲得升到大聯盟的機會，上去之後他們也表現得很不錯，像是Bird和Luis Severino，所以這幾年對我們這些年輕選手來說機會大好。」

年僅21歲的右投手Severino在去年8月就被叫上大聯盟，之後先發出賽11場拿下5勝3敗防禦率2.89的成績，是洋基未來輪值圈的重要戰力。

根據大聯盟官方整體評價為60分（滿分80）分的Judge，其中除了力量（power）之外，臂力也獲得高度評價，加上他的出眾體型，Judge將會在洋基未來的陣容中扮演重要角色，「我很興奮今年很有機會能登上大聯盟一展身手。」
